The Path from Engineering to Trust
Having started its manufacturing operations to provide security sector with high-quality products and services with the state-of-the-art and modern engineering applications in December 2000 at Ostim Ankara, OPTIMA Engineering Ltd. Co has been able to enhance its product standards and production capacity in a short period by climbing the steps of success fast.
OPTIMA that started its journey with the lowest limit of capital as a local enterprise in its small workshop moved from ostim to its own factory in Kazan Keresteciler Industrial Zone in 2010.
Exporting more than 90% of the 20 types of main products that it designs and produces within its own body to abroad markets, OPTIMA established its second factory in Saudi Arabia in order to provide services in a more efficient and faster manner to its customers in the Middle East region where it has a substantial market share since 2013.
Aiming to be a world brand, OPTIMA received an investment grant from the Regional Incentive Practices of the Ministry of Economy for investors in 2014 and purchased the 9000m2’ industrial zoned land plot at Baskent Organized Industrial Zone (BOIZ) and completed the construction of its factory in the summer months of 2015, where it still carries out its operations.
Thanks to its vision, quality, machinery park, and talented R&D and P&D personnel, OPTIMA has created R&D and Innovation projects throughout the years and made use of the grants of various institutions such as Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK), Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB), Central Anatolian Exporters’ Associations (OAİB), the Ministry of Economy, Ankara Development Agency, and Exporters Assembly of Turkey (TİM). OPTIMA has also acquired various test certificates both domestically and abroad, with regard to the quality and innovativeness of its products.
OPTIMA has two Utility Model Certificates and two Patents registered from the Turkish Patent Office for some of the products that it has designed and produced. It also has applications for two Patents whose transactions are ongoing.
OPTIMA demonstrated the importance it attaches to R&D and Innovation, by being entitled to be the “65th Design Center of Turkey” on July 18, 2017.
In the same year, on 27 November 2017, Ankara Chamber of Commerce designated OPTIMA as the “3rd Most Rapidly Growing Company of Ankara” and OPTIMA also received an award.
